As of March, 2024, I’ve been hosting the morning show at Mix 100 in Denver for 31 years and counting. Here are a few random images from over the years.

It’s silly, I know - but getting your own bobblehead is pretty cool.

And the backside.

Winning Morning Show of the Year AND Radio Personalities of the Year for the Dom and Jeremy Show. The judges were clearly drunk.

I’ve emceed a lot of events over the years, but for just the cuteness factor it’s hard to beat the Red Robin Kids’ Burger Cook-off competition.

Almost every year for Halloween, I must be an astronaut. Hey, I paid for the costume, I’m gonna wear the hell out of it.

When I started at Mix 100 in 1993, it was actually called Majic 100. Someone jokingly said our logo looked like it belonged to a Chinese restaurant, and after that . . . well, it was all I could see whenever I looked at it.

Back in the old days when our radio station marketed the morning show, we had billboards. Here’s a mock-up of one that pimped our new “All-70s” format. It’s me and Jo with dueling legs, a la the ZZ Top song, and totally unnecessary quotation marks. Yes, these billboards were all over town.

On opening day for Denver International Airport (see Chapter 14), we handed out these commemorative buttons while broadcasting live from the terminal.

The press release in 1993, announcing that Majic 100 (now Mix 100) had hired a new morning host. I love the line that says the station “looks forward to a long and successful relationship.” Well, it’s 31 years and counting. 😀
